Organic acid with a characteristic odor.
In the household, it is often used as an effective and safe cleaning agent after dilution.
An example would be limescale removal.
It is effective in removing dirt and is also a natural alternative to chemical cleaners.

It tackles difficult stains and perfectly dissolves even old dirt – including rust or coffee.
It handles urine stains very well, which is handy when there are pets (puppies or kittens) in the house.
It can also be used to clean tough stains, such as cleaning surfaces in kitchen hoods.

Research shows that small amounts of acetic acid have a positive effect on the body, primarily by lowering sugar levels and stabilizing blood pressure.

Acetic acid is used in very small amounts in supplements and in some medications to reduce pain or intestinal and stomach problems.
It is also commonly used in ointments.
For higher concentrations, the adjective " icy " is sometimes used, which comes from the fact that it solidifies into ice crystals at about 17°C.
In diluted form around 30% or less, the acid is also referred to as white vinegar .

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND DOSAGE:

  • Dilution and pH adjustment : When diluting, follow the procedure of adding acid to water, not the other way around, to avoid a violent exothermic reaction.
  • Maintenance : Suitable for cleaning and removing mineral deposits and rust. Apply to the surface, leave to work and then rinse with water.
  • In industry : It is used to produce acetates, essences, cleaning and removing agents.
  • To remove limescale: Pour acetic acid into the kettle, leave to act and then rinse.
  • To clean glass surfaces: Mix with water and wipe surfaces with a dry cloth.
  • To remove odors in the refrigerator: Place an open container of vinegar in the refrigerator.
  • To obtain a 10% concentration for cleaning, use 9 parts water and 1 part acid with a concentration of 100% (2 parts water and 1 part acid if it has 30%.)

When working with acid, follow these safety precautions :

  • Wear protective clothing, gloves and eye protection.
  • Apply in a well-ventilated area.
