Nitric acid 65% - 60kg
Nitric acid (HNO₃) is a mineral acid whose most common use is in the rocket industry for the production of fertilizers, medicines, paints and varnishes, explosives, silver purification, and metal degreasing.
The sale of nitric acid in a concentration of 3% or more is subject to monitored sales and a declaration on explosives precursor must be completed. Sales only with a business registration number.
It is suitable for metal cleaning and fertilizer production.
concentration 65% - in this concentration it is only available for sale with a company registration number and after signing a declaration.
If you are a person without a personal identification number, you need to purchase the already diluted 3% version, which is sold to end users without restrictions.
CAS: 7697-37-2
EC: 231-714-2
the volume coefficient is 1.4kg per 1L
Quantity tolerance: 3%
The price includes a 60L canister.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND DOSAGE:
When diluted to 3%, it can be used as a fertilizer when watering the lawn.
At a concentration of 10%, nitric acid is often used to artificially age pine and maple. The wood turns a gray-gold color.
When creating blue “verdigris” on copper parts after acid etching, use ammonia and rinse.
After that, treat the surface with varnish, otherwise it will turn green due to rain and atmospheric oxygen.
Always work with acids carefully and responsibly:
- wear protective clothing and eye protection
- when diluting with water, always add the acid to the water and not the other way around to avoid a violent reaction
- apply in well-ventilated areas
