Preparation for reducing the pH value of pool water

Appearance and composition: yellow-white liquid. Contains Sulfuric acid (12-14%), CAS:7664-93-9.

Action : It is used to reduce the pH value of pool water. Swimming water should have a pH value in the range of 6.8–7.4, in this range the most effective effect of chlorine preparations without side effects is guaranteed.

water with unadjusted pH: pH>7.4 causes milky turbidity, reduces the effectiveness of chlorine agents and causes their odor, clogs the water filter. pH<6.8 causes increased corrosion of metal parts of pools, fading of pool colors, eye and skin irritation

To reduce the pH value by 0.1, add 10 - 20 ml of the product per 1 m3 (1,000 l) of water.

Dilute the calculated amount of product thoroughly in water in a separate container and spread evenly over the surface of the pool. Add the product to the water, not the other way around. Leave to work with the filter pump turned on.

The pH value must be measured after the pool water has been mixed (depending on the volume of water and the pump capacity). Repeat the procedure until the pH value is within the required range. No one must be present in the pool during application and mixing.

DANGER . Causes serious eye damage. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/safety glasses.

Acid is always added to water, never the other way around!

First aid instructions: In case of inhalation: Move the affected person to fresh air. If necessary, provide artificial respiration and call a doctor. In case of skin contact : Wash immediately with soap and water, rinse thoroughly. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. In case of eye contact: Immediately rinse the eyes with open eyelids and remove contact lenses under running water for at least 5 minutes. Seek medical attention. In case of ingestion : Do not induce vomiting! Give plenty of water to drink. Seek medical attention immediately. Immediately call the TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION CENTER (tel. 224 919 293 or 224 915 402) or a doctor.

Storage : Store the product in its original, closed packaging in a cool, dry place at a temperature of up to 30°C, away from heat sources and sunlight.

Warning : Do not mix with other products! The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper use of the product.

Shelf life : At least 2 years from date of manufacture in original sealed packaging and under proper storage conditions.

Disposalng>: Dispose of unused product or empty packaging with residues at a hazardous waste collection point! After thoroughly emptying, clean the contaminated packaging several times by rinsing it with water and after cleaning it can be disposed of in municipal waste containers. We also accept containers back in our warehouses.
