A preparation to reduce the pH value of pool water
Appearance and composition: yellow-white liquid. Contains Sulfuric acid (12-14%), CAS:7664-93-9.
Effect : It serves to reduce the pH value of the pool water. Bathing water should have a pH value in the range of 6.8–7.4, in this range the most effective effect of chlorine preparations without side effects is guaranteed.
Instructions for use and dosage: check the pH value and adjust to the ideal range before using chlorine or other disinfectants
water with an unadjusted pH: pH>7.4 causes milky turbidity, reduces the effectiveness of chlorine products and causes their odor, clogs the water filter. pH<6.8 results in increased corrosion of metal parts of pools, fading of pool colors, eye and skin irritation
To reduce the pH value by 0.1, add 10 - 20 ml of the product to 1 m3 (1,000 l) of water
Thoroughly dilute the calculated amount of product in water in a separate container and spread evenly over the surface of the pool. Add the product to the water, not the other way around. Leave it on with the filter pump on.
The pH value must be measured after mixing the water in the pool (it depends on the volume of water and the performance of the pump). Repeat the process until the pH value is in the desired range. No one must be present in the pool at the time of application and while the product is being mixed.
DANGER . Causes serious eye damage. If medical attention is needed, have the product packaging or label on hand. Keep out of reach of children. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Use protective gloves/protective clothing/goggles.
Acid is always added to water, never the other way around!
First aid instructions: Inhalation: Move victim to fresh air. If necessary, provide artificial respiration and call a doctor. In case of skin contact : Wash immediately with soap and water, rinse thoroughly. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. In case of eye contact: Immediately begin to flush eyes with lids open and contact lenses removed under running water for at least 5 minutes. Seek medical treatment. If swallowed : Do not induce vomiting! Give plenty of water to drink. See a doctor immediately. Immediately call the TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION CENTER (tel. 224 919 293 or 224 915 402) or a doctor.
Storage : Store the preparation in the original closed packaging in a cool and dry place at a temperature of up to 30 °C, away from sources of heat and sunlight.
