Preparation to increase the pH value of pool water

Appearance and composition : Fine white powder. Contains sodium carbonate (100%) CAS: 497-19-8
It is used to increase the pH value of pool water. A water pH in the range of 6.8 - 7.4 pH guarantees the most effective action of chlorine preparations without side effects.
Instructions for use and dosage : check the pH value and regulate to the ideal range before using chlorine or other disinfectants
water with unadjusted pH: pH>7.4 causes milky turbidity, reduces the effectiveness of chlorine agents and causes their odor, clogs the water filter. pH<6.8 causes increased corrosion of metal parts of pools, fading of pool colors, eye and skin irritation
To increase the pH value by 0.2, add approximately 10g of the product per 1 m3 (1,000 l) of water.
Dissolve the calculated amount of the product thoroughly in water in a separate container and spread evenly over the surface of the pool. Add the product to the water, not the other way around. Leave it to work with the filter pump turned on.
The pH value must be measured after the pool water has been mixed (depending on the volume of water and the pump capacity). Repeat the procedure until the pH value is within the required range. No one must be present in the pool during application and mixing.
Warning. Causes serious eye irritation. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Do not breathe dust. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves/goggles.
First aid instructions: Inhalation : Move the affected person to fresh air. Skin contact : Wash immediately with soap and water, rinse thoroughly. Eye contact : Immediately flush eyes with plenty of running water for at least 5 minutes, holding eyelids open and removing any contact lenses. Seek medical attention. Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting! Make person drink plenty of water. Seek medical attention immediately.
Storage : Store the product in its original, closed packaging in a cool, dry place at temperatures up to 30°C, away from sources of ignition. Protect from moisture.
Warning : Do not mix with other products! The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper use of the product.
Shelf life : 2 years from date of manufacture if storage conditions are observed.
Disposal : Dispose of unused product or empty packaging with residues at a hazardous waste collection point! After thoroughly emptying, clean the contaminated packaging several times by rinsing it with water and after cleaning it can be placed in containers for municipal waste collection.
